Pure natural experiences.
Kaltern through the seasons
There is always something going on at the Traubenhof. The jobs in the vineyard and on the farm change with the seasons. Just like the rural customs and traditions. We are happy to let our guests take part, and hold regular workshops, tasting sessions and joint activities on the farm. But, of course, there is also plenty to experience outside of the Traubenhof. In spring there’s the birdsong to listen to, and the colourfully blossoming fruit and almond trees to admire. In summer the lovely landscape of the surroundings tempts visitors to go hiking or cycling. And the refreshing water of Lake Kaltern provides opportunities for a wide variety of water sports. Autumn in Kaltern is a genuine riot of colour! When the ripe grapes and apples compete to outshine one another and the clear autumn air brings deep silence and serenity, everyone feels at one with nature. In winter things are somewhat more contemplative and relaxed in Kaltern, but snow-lovers will find plenty to keep them happy in the nearby ski resorts. And another thing: the lovely Christmas Markets in our area offer an especially atmospheric pre-Christmas experience.
